Book Kennison has been perfecting his solo show for Circus Harmony since 2008. Combining juggling, dance, improvisation, and astonishing physical comedy, he creates a show that simultaneously draws in the audience while pushing the limits of how far they’re willing to follow him. In 25 minutes, he explores the mind, body, ego, and soul of a performer through methods silly and profound, all without speaking.

His credits include Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, Circus Smirkus, Midnight Circus, The Late Show and The Tonight Show; and as the featured performer in Silhouette on the Celebrity Silhouette. He has spent the last seven months traveling through Europe and Canada and he’s thrilled to return to Circus Harmony, his favorite place to perform.

Elliana Grace: Aerialist

Our featured performer of the month is Elliana Grace: Aerialist!

elliana grace

Elliana Grace is the youngest-ever female human cannonball to have performed with Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus. She made her first circus debut at just two weeks old when she played The Baby in Circus Flora’s 1992 production. She made guest appearances with the St. Louis Arches when she was as young as two and became a regular member of the famed youth circus troupe when she was five. Since then, she has appeared in numerous acrobatic, aerial, and equilibristic acts. With her partner Claire Kuciejczyk-Kernan, Elliana performed in the Elliaire Duet presenting both double lyra and double trapeze acts that won critical acclaim and high praise from circus people and media alike. Elliana was one of the Ianna Sprint Riders, a youth bareback riding act. She also mastered the difficult upside down loop walk or cloud walk. Elliana has performed at the famed Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina and in Israel as part of the Circus Harmony’s Peace Through Pyramids collaboration with the Jewish/Arab Galilee Circus. Currently, Elliana is coaching at the Circus Harmony Flying Trapeze Center along with performing her one-woman variety show. See our schedule to watch her show which takes place at City Museum.
